the pic below was an attempt to draw a nice background and then more cartoony characters. I think it came out pretty good. Here I have put the original photo background next to the drawing I did of it and added a photoshop combo of the two pieces...

Reading the "Buy my Books" column on CBR...Kirkman was hyping up his collaborator Cory Walker. Walker has an easy cartoony style which inspired me to draw.

Finally got to work a little more on this and then my computer died. I had to rescan and recolor the entire thing. Tell me what you think?
