Thought I would try to do a page; pencils and inks all in one night. This is the result:
The final product ended up taking me two nights. It is roughly 14" x 8.5".

playing around with photoshop's color matching tool. Pretty neat.

Brush practice...

got some new paper today so I did a little page to muck around. Also got a new fatter brush so I can lay more ink down. fun stuff. I did only light pencils to get proportions and placement then did most of the rendering etc with the brush. I have barely used brushes for drawing so its very new to me. I tend to rush and move my hand very fast - like I would do with a pencil - however the bristles move in ways that I can't seem to predict. More practice, more practice, more practice...

Oneday I will be able to put down a nice line! (or maybe not)
