Here is a cool step-by-step of the process Kazu Kibuishi uses on his "Copper" strip. I especially like that he uses a "cheap flat-bed scanner" because, so do I.

Here is the second pass of pencils. I changed the gun a little in panel 5 because it looked too small in the original layout. And that's right...those are speed lines baby!

Photo set of the first 11 inked pages put up on flickr for sharing etc. I have pencils scanned for p12 (but not for 13) and am working on p 14 now. Moving right along. Anyway I was playing with various venues for posting/viewing this stuff and flickr seems pretty good. Tell me what you think - either here or there.

Process page 14 - sketch

Here is the first pass at page 14. sketch the whole thing with light pencil (2h or 4h). Making sure everything is ok before adding any lines or tone. (The big ugly gray streak in the middle is due to my small scanner.)
